Signs include earache, difficulty hearing, itchiness, dizziness, ear infections, or tinnitus-like sounds coming from inside the ear.
You may naturally produce more wax, have hairy or narrow ear canals, or find wax harder to shift with age. Hearing aids and earplugs can also push wax further in.
You can't prevent earwax as it protects your ears, but using olive oil or a spray such as Earol or Cl-Ear once a month can help soften wax and keep your ears clear.
